First of all i would like to say its an off beat film.Dont enter the theatre by seeing the poster and trailer.Its a damn serious movie.
Script and Direction:Over all its a new subject.Story is a good one.Thare is something more to think about the topicLots and Lots f symbolic scenes are there.,which is TV Chandrans trade mark.That is d major positive thing.,but when portrayed in screen the characters lost their life.Felt lyk a mechanical acting.,xcept for jayasurya's characters.Some comic scenes are there.,due to lack of good bgm.,it was aimless!.I dont consider it as a master script.Except some good symblic scenes and camera works the direction felt lyk hindered!Some dialogues felt lyk boring!!!
Acting:Except jayasurya no one didnt acted well.Meera nandan was just okey.Surely this is a milestone in Jaysurya's acting career.I wonder if he cud bag some awards.Kalpana was boringly over acting
Technical side:Some good camere angles and shots are there BUT!!..i think TV Chandran havbt learnd about new techniques in editing.In this era of SFX.,the doulble role scenes in this film are actually bullshit.
Music is BGM mainly.,its depressing.Music director is national award winner Issac Thomas Kottukappilly.,still the BGM is utterly boring.This is the major negative for the film.
In short TV Chandran.,did something.,that havnt found the target.He may get entry to big film feativels., but no place in common viewers heart.But still the film is a good sigh for Jayasurya.
Before going 4 a film think its a TV Chandran film.,Its not everyones cup of tea.

Movie starts with the death of SHANKARAN( the elder brother of MOHANAN)on his 2nd day of marriage with a young girl rajalakshmi..
After that the story went through the interaction of "Ghost of shankaran" with mohanan.
മോഹനനോടു സഹായം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു ശങ്കരന്റെ ആത്മാവ് പിന്നാലെ കൂടുന്നതാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഇതിവൃത്തം !!
പല രൂപങ്ങളിലും പല ഭാവങ്ങളിലും ശങ്കരന്റെ ആത്മാവ് മോഹനന് പോകുന്ന എല്ലായിടത്തും പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നു!!
ആത്മാവിന്റെ ആവശ്യം ഒന്നേയുള്ളൂ !! തന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുള്ള കൊതിതീരാത്ത സ്നേഹം അവളെ അറിയിക്കുക , ശങ്കരേട്ടന് മരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല ഇവിടെ തന്നെയുണ്ട് എന്ന് അവളോട് പോയി പറയാനാണ് ആത്മാവ് മോഹനനോടു ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്.. പല സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലും മോഹനന് ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടും അതിനു കഴിയുന്നില്ല , ഇങ്ങനെ കഥ മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്നു !!!
Jayasurya at his best.. it will be one of his memorable character..
As MOHANAN jayasurya did a wonderful acting , really a flexible acting.. As SHANKARAN 70% it was good , on some scenes felt like he is PRETENDING to be SHANKARAN , i mean in some scenes he cud'n get into the character.. rest of the scenes wre so good and a brilliant effort..
Meera nandan was OK, Reema kallingal was average like " contestant who came for cinema audition "
IT'S A DIRECTOR SPECIAL MOVIE WITH A SIGNATURE.. കൈയ്യടിച്ചു വിസ്സിലടിച്ചു ഉല്ലസ്സിച്ചു ചിത്രം കാണാന് വരുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകര്ക്ക് നിരാശ തോന്നിയേക്കാം !!!

totally dissapointed....
Its a totaly waste of money to watch the movie.The film is not any where near T.V.Chandrans previously applaused Kadhavasesan OR Boomimalayalam.Its a pakka imaginative subject.It was very much risk to commercialise the subject ,which failed miserably where the director goes in dilemma whether to go in commercial form or off beat form.Unfortunately it went in a mixture form.
Nothing new to malayalee audience with the subject.Wat chandran sir boasted was abt the comedies which is very much vulgour ,even some remembere me AYUSHKALAM.
My rating 3/10

'm not a hater of art film...i did enjoy T V chandran's films kadhavasheshan,ponthan maada etc...but i cudn shanakaranum mohananum...
saw the film frm changanassery abhinaya...at the starting of film theatre status ws around 60%...after 30 minutes it became 40%...and after interval it ws 20%...
i didn understand wt TVC tried to execute...nothing in dis film good...the apt name for dis film s "fancy dress"...all actors performed horribly xcept jagathy...
jayasurya as mohanan ws ok...but as shankaran ws horrible...he tried to act like an aged innocent village character...but on screen shankaran appears like a "pottan" character...his dialogue delivery ws too bad...
on the whole...an avoidable film...1/10

ഒരു പ്രത്യേക തരം ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന് ചിത്രം
തലശേരി ലിബറ്ട്ടി ലിറ്റില് പാരഡൈസ് 11/6/11 11.30 മണി -ഒരു 100 പേര് കാണും
ഒരു പാട് മോശം അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള് വന്നെങ്കിലും പടം കാണാമെന്നു വച്ചു.
ഈ ചിത്രം മാറ്ക്കറ്റു ചെയ്തതു വളരെ തെറ്റായ വിധത്തിലാണ്.ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന്റ്റെ ആദ്യ് കൊമേറ്ഷ്യല് ചിത്രം,കൊമഡി ചിത്രം എന്ന രീതിയില്.പക്ഷെ അങ്ങനെയൊന്നുമല്ല.സ്ഥിരം ശൈലിയിലുള്ള ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന് ചിത്രം
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റ്റെ ചിത്രങ്ങളോടോ അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള അവാറ്ഡ് ചിത്രങ്ങളോടോ പ്രത്യേകിച്ചു വലിയ ഇഷ്ടം എനിക്കില്ല. ഇത്തരം പടങ്ങള് ഒഴിവാക്കാറണ് പതിവ്. പക്ഷേ പൊന്തന് മാട, ഡാനി ,ഭൂമി മലയാളം എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങള് ഇഷ്ടമായി. ഞാന് ആദ്യമായി തിയേറ്ററില് നിന്ന് കാണുന്ന ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന് ചിത്രമാണ് ശങ്കരനും മോഹനനും.
ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു നല്ലതോ മോശമോ എന്താ പറയേണ്ട്തു എന്ന് എനിക്കറിയില്ല. ഇതു രണ്ടാം തവണ മാത്രമാണ് ഒരു സിനിമയെ എനിക്കു ക്രിത്യമായി വിലയിരുത്താന് പറ്റാതെ പോകുന്നതു. ആദ്യ ചിത്രം ‘പകല് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്’ ആയിരുന്നു.അതു പക്ഷെ ടി വിയിലാണു കണ്ടതു. ഏതാണ്ടു അതു പോലെ മനസ്സിനെ അസ്വസ്ഥമാക്കുന്ന ഒരു തരം തത്വചിന്താപരമായ ചിത്രം. സിമ്പോളിക്കായിട്ടാണ് മുഴുവന് കാര്യങ്ങളും പറയുന്നതു.
ഇതിലൊ അഭിനേതാക്കളൊക്കെ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ടു.സുരാജിന് ആദ്യമായി വരുമ്പോള് തന്നെ കൂവലായിരുന്നു.സാധാരണ കൈയടിയാണ് പതിവ്. പക്ഷേ സുരാജ് വെറുപ്പിച്ചില്ല.ഒരു സീനില് ടി വി ചന്ദ്രനും സീനില് വരുന്നുണ്ടു.
ഈ ചിത്രം ഒരിക്കലും നിങ്ങളെ എന്റ്ററടെയിന് ചെയ്യിക്കില്ല. ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന്റ്റെ ആദ്യ് കൊമേറ്ഷ്യല് ചിത്രം പോസ്റ്ററൊക്കെ കണ്ടു കോമഡി ചിത്രം എന്നു കരുതി വരുന്നവരെ നിരാശരാകും.നല്ല കൂവല് തന്നെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.വളരെ പതുക്കെയാണ് കഥ പറയുന്നതു.പക്ഷെ ചില സ്ഥലത്തു ലാഗിങ്ങ് തോന്നിയെങ്കിലും എനിക്കെന്തൊ ബോറടിച്ചില്ല.മുഴുവന് കണ്ടിരിക്കാന് തോന്നി.പക്ഷേ ഇതു എല്ലാവറ്ക്കും പറ്റിയ സിനിമ അല്ല.
പക്ഷേ ഈ ചിത്രത്തെ എങ്ങനെ റേറ്റു ചെയ്യണം എന്നറിയില്ല. ആദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് ഇങ്ങനെയോരു ആശയ്ക്കുഴ്പ്പം വരുന്നതു.അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ റേറ്റു ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.
ഇതിനു മുന്പ് റിവ്യൂ ഇട്ട നിതിന്റ്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തോട് ഞാന് ഏറെക്കുറെ പൂറ്ണ്ണമായി യോജിക്കുന്നു.
ഒരു പാട് മോശം അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള് വന്നെങ്കിലും പടം കാണാമെന്നു വച്ചു.
ഈ ചിത്രം മാറ്ക്കറ്റു ചെയ്തതു വളരെ തെറ്റായ വിധത്തിലാണ്.ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന്റ്റെ ആദ്യ് കൊമേറ്ഷ്യല് ചിത്രം,കൊമഡി ചിത്രം എന്ന രീതിയില്.പക്ഷെ അങ്ങനെയൊന്നുമല്ല.സ്ഥിരം ശൈലിയിലുള്ള ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന് ചിത്രം
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റ്റെ ചിത്രങ്ങളോടോ അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള അവാറ്ഡ് ചിത്രങ്ങളോടോ പ്രത്യേകിച്ചു വലിയ ഇഷ്ടം എനിക്കില്ല. ഇത്തരം പടങ്ങള് ഒഴിവാക്കാറണ് പതിവ്. പക്ഷേ പൊന്തന് മാട, ഡാനി ,ഭൂമി മലയാളം എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങള് ഇഷ്ടമായി. ഞാന് ആദ്യമായി തിയേറ്ററില് നിന്ന് കാണുന്ന ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന് ചിത്രമാണ് ശങ്കരനും മോഹനനും.
ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു നല്ലതോ മോശമോ എന്താ പറയേണ്ട്തു എന്ന് എനിക്കറിയില്ല. ഇതു രണ്ടാം തവണ മാത്രമാണ് ഒരു സിനിമയെ എനിക്കു ക്രിത്യമായി വിലയിരുത്താന് പറ്റാതെ പോകുന്നതു. ആദ്യ ചിത്രം ‘പകല് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്’ ആയിരുന്നു.അതു പക്ഷെ ടി വിയിലാണു കണ്ടതു. ഏതാണ്ടു അതു പോലെ മനസ്സിനെ അസ്വസ്ഥമാക്കുന്ന ഒരു തരം തത്വചിന്താപരമായ ചിത്രം. സിമ്പോളിക്കായിട്ടാണ് മുഴുവന് കാര്യങ്ങളും പറയുന്നതു.

jayasuryaye istamayatu kondu maatramalla njan js communitiyil join cheytatu. few of my frnds sugested to join...........so i did.......

jayasurya is an avg actor, but can do negative roles much better than some of other young actors.....he did extremely well in oomapennu,classmates,vairam & cocktail. other than these films i havnt seen a great performance from this actor.but most of his acting is just a mimic of jayaram or dileep. even after 10 years he lacks the talent to portray a full length character in a flow....
nithin- i like the way in which u r supporting ur fav star, but it doesnt mean tat no one else could comment against him........
i dont think am the only person who is not impressed with jayasurya , ter r many. but am lover of mal films, so i cant keep quiet wen an actor or film is over rated without any minimam std of contributions from them....
