Synopsis-
The story revolves around Padbanabhan (Jayaram), Philip Edikulla (Biju Menon), Rashid Munna (Manoj K. Jayan), Rex Manual (Kunchacko Boban) who were thick intimate friends who studied in the same college 14 years ago. Now they are separated and living happily after college life.
Rex manual loves music; hence he’s selling music instruments through his shop. The person Rashid who’s keeping love in mind is now doing a ladies store business and Philip Edikulla is doing agriculture due to his passion towards farming.
One day, Padbanabhan called Philip, Rashid and Rex. He told them about a new suggestion like joining back at the same college as seniors. Even though they were hesitant first, due to the strong influence of Padbanabhan, Philip Edikulla, Rashid Munna, Rex Manual agreed to rejoin the college for PG at Ernakulum Maharaja's college, M.A Philosophy. The movie forwards with the incidents that happens after they rejoin the college. But there is a purpose for them to why they joined back at the college. The story moves forward on a comic, fun and suspense environment.

abt the film...film-nte story line-e patti eakadesha dharana undaayirunnu...first half comedy N a second half with some twists n suspense climax...but the film is above all our expectations..."A Well Directed Comedy Suspense Thriller...♪♪"
first half started with flash back scenes...BGM in the flash back scenes ws gud...and then to the 1996 campus...pinne aanu present story...all the seniors introduction wer superb...then the seniors coming back to the campus...pinne ulla oro sequences-um superb...and a thrilling interval punch...♪♪
second half-um valiya boring illaathe start cheythu...pinne chila double eaning dialogues n dat item song sequences cud hav been avoided...climax n suspence part ws exellent...suspence predictable aanennu chila sherlock homes teams-nu thonnum...enkilum that imotional parts wer directed well...♪♪
the first positive part f the film s the man 'Vaisakh'...he directed well with out any lagging...and gave all the punches in the parts...♪♪
sachi-sethu's scripting s also gud...better script frm the duo till date...♪♪
the biggest attractive part f the film s the "4 SENIORS"...all the 4 wer kidu...superb performance by them...biju menon's family scenes r the main comedy part in the film...and manoj k jayan's poovalan also...jayaram n chackochan ws superb in their roles...♪♪
all supporting characters wer also gud...spcly sidhiq,padmapriya,ananya,shammy thilakan etc...jagathy has nothing much to do...meer nandan ws ok...and jyothirmayi n suniha varma done their job well...n aspecial applause to the boy who acted biju menon's son character...suraj ws ok,not bad as usual...sachi - sethu agin tried some "tintumon's kwamedy...:-P" with suraj...♪♪

the first positive part f the film s the man 'Vaisakh'...he directed well with out any lagging...and gave all the punches in the parts...♪♪
sachi-sethu's scripting s also gud...better script frm the duo till date...♪♪
the biggest attractive part f the film s the "4 SENIORS"...all the 4 wer kidu...superb performance by them...biju menon's family scenes r the main comedy part in the film...and manoj k jayan's poovalan also...jayaram n chackochan ws superb in their roles...♪♪

സീനിയേഴ്സ് കണ്ടു. 2. രസമുള്ള സിനിമ. 3. ഇത്രയും രസിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു സിനിമ സമീപകാലത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല. 4. കെട്ടുറപ്പുള്ള തിരക്കഥയാണ് സിനിമയെ ഇംപ്രസീവ് ആക്കുന്നത്. 5. നായകന്മാരായ ജയറാം, കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബന്, ബിജു മേനോന്, മനോജ് കെ ജയന് എന്നിവര് മനോഹരമായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. 6. പോക്കിരിരാജയെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് വൈശാഖ് ഏറെ മുന്നേറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഇനി ഓരോന്നായി പറയാം:

ഞാന് വളരെ അകലെ നിന്ന് തിയേറ്ററിനെ നോക്കി. സീനിയേഴ്സ് റിലീസാകുന്ന ദിവസം. വലിയ തിരക്കൊന്നുമില്ല. ടിക്കറ്റ് കൌണ്ടറിനു മുന്നില് അധികം പേരൊന്നുമില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ‘മാണിക്യക്കല്ല്’ കാണാന് പോയപ്പോള് വിരലാല് എണ്ണാവുന്ന ആള്ക്കാര് മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ. ഇത് അതിലൊക്കെ എത്രയോ മെച്ചമാണ്.
തിയേറ്റര് പരിസരത്ത് സിനിമാ രംഗത്തെ പരിചിത മുഖങ്ങളെയൊന്നും കണ്ടില്ല. എല്ലാ സിനിമയും ആദ്യ ദിവസം ആദ്യ ഷോ തന്നെ കാണുന്ന ചില സംവിധായകരുണ്ട്. അവരെയും കാണാനില്ല. തിയേറ്ററിനുള്ളില് കടന്നു. എനിക്കു തോന്നുന്നത് ‘ഡബിള്സ്’ ഇംപാക്ട് ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് തിരക്കു കുറയാന് കാരണം എന്നാണ്. സച്ചി - സേതു എഴുതുന്ന സിനിമ, ഡബിള്സിന് ശേഷമെത്തുന്ന അവരുടെ സിനിമ എന്നതൊക്കെ പ്രേക്ഷകരെ തിയേറ്ററില് നിന്ന് മാറ്റിനിര്ത്തുന്നുണ്ടാകണം.
പക്ഷേ സിനിമ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോഴേക്കും തിയേറ്റര് ഏകദേശം നിറഞ്ഞു. ‘മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് നന്ദി’ എന്ന് എഴുതിക്കാണിച്ചപ്പോള് ഒരു ആരവം. കുറച്ചുപേരുടെ ‘ജെയ്’ വിളികളും പിന്നെ ചിലയിടങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് കൂവലും. സിനിമ തുടക്കം തന്നെ ഞെട്ടിച്ചു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല് മതിയല്ലോ. കോളജില് ഒരു കൊലപാതകം. അതും നമ്മുടെ മീരാ നന്ദനെ. ഫ്ലാഷ്ബാക്കാണ് കേട്ടോ. ജയറാമിന്റെ വോയിസ്ഓവറിലാണ് കഥ പറയുന്നത്. കൊലപാതകത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് പത്മനാഭന്(ജയറാം) ജയിലില് പോകുന്നു.

പക്ഷേ സിനിമ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോഴേക്കും തിയേറ്റര് ഏകദേശം നിറഞ്ഞു. ‘മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് നന്ദി’ എന്ന് എഴുതിക്കാണിച്ചപ്പോള് ഒരു ആരവം. കുറച്ചുപേരുടെ ‘ജെയ്’ വിളികളും പിന്നെ ചിലയിടങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് കൂവലും. സിനിമ തുടക്കം തന്നെ ഞെട്ടിച്ചു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല് മതിയല്ലോ. കോളജില് ഒരു കൊലപാതകം. അതും നമ്മുടെ മീരാ നന്ദനെ. ഫ്ലാഷ്ബാക്കാണ് കേട്ടോ. ജയറാമിന്റെ വോയിസ്ഓവറിലാണ് കഥ പറയുന്നത്. കൊലപാതകത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് പത്മനാഭന്(ജയറാം) ജയിലില് പോകുന്നു.

2. രസമുള്ള സിനിമ
രസകരമായ ഒരു സിനിമയാണ് സീനിയേഴ്സ്. നാല്വര് സംഘം എന്തിനാണ് കോളജില് മടങ്ങിയെത്തിയത് എന്നതാണ് സിനിമയുടെ സസ്പെന്സ്. അവര്ക്ക് ചില ഉദ്ദേശ്യങ്ങളൊക്കെയുണ്ട്. കോളജില് ചെല്ലുന്നപാടെ അതൊക്കെ അങ്ങു വെളിപ്പെടുത്താന് പറ്റുമോ? അവിടെ ചില കളികള്, തമാശകള്, ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലുകള്. എന്തായാലും സീനിയേഴ്സ് തകര്ത്തുവാരി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് മതിയല്ലോ. ആദ്യ പകുതി ഒരു നിമിഷം പോലും ബോറടിക്കില്ല. 100% ഗ്യാരണ്ടി.
3. ഇത്രയും രസിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു സിനിമ സമീപകാലത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല
ചൈനാ ടൌണ്, ക്രിസ്ത്യന് ബ്രദേഴ്സ് തുടങ്ങിയവയാണല്ലോ അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് ആഘോഷപൂര്വം എത്തിയ സിനിമകള്. സീനിയേഴ്സ് അവയെയൊക്കെ കടത്തിവെട്ടി. ചിരിപ്പിക്കുകയും രസിപ്പിക്കുകയും ത്രില്ലടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രമാണിത്. ഒരു രസമുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ അനന്യയുടെ ഒരു പ്രകടനം. ‘പോക്കിരിരാജ’യിലെ മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ അനുകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് കക്ഷി. തിയേറ്ററില് അതിന് സമ്മിശ്ര പ്രതികരണമാണെങ്കിലും ആ നിലപാട് എനിക്കിഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. വൈശാഖ് തന്റെ ആദ്യ സിനിമയെ വിമര്ശനാത്മകമായി സമീപിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
4. കെട്ടുറപ്പുള്ള തിരക്കഥയാണ് സിനിമയെ ഇംപ്രസീവ് ആക്കുന്നത്
സച്ചി - സേതു കഠിനാദ്ധ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട് സീനിയേഴ്സില്. ഒരു നല്ല എന്റര്ടെയ്നര് എങ്ങനെയെഴുതാമെന്ന് ഈ സിനിമയിലൂടെ അവര് കാണിച്ചു തന്നു. ഡബിള്സിന് എന്താണാവോ പറ്റിയത്? നമ്മുടെ ലാല്(സിദ്ദിഖ് - ലാല്) സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ടു ഹരിഹര് നഗര് എന്ന സിനിമയില്ലേ. അതിന്റെ രചനാരീതിയാണ് സീനിയേഴ്സില് സച്ചി - സേതു പിന്തുടര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. ചില ഡയലോഗുകളൊക്കെ ഗംഭീരമായി. ജയറാം ഒരിടത്ത് മിമിക്രി നമ്പര് കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പഴശ്ശിരാജയെയാണ് തോണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. “പഴശ്ശിയുടെ സമരമുറകള് കാമ്പസ് ഇനി കാണാന് പോകുന്നതേയുള്ളൂ” - എന്താ ഒരു കൈയടി തിയേറ്ററില്!

5. നായകന്മാരായ ജയറാം, കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബന്, ബിജു മേനോന്, മനോജ് കെ ജയന് എന്നിവര് മനോഹരമായി അഭിനയിച്ചു
എങ്കിലും അടിച്ചുപൊളിച്ചത് ബിജു മേനോന് തന്നെ. മേരിക്കുണ്ടൊരു കുഞ്ഞാടിന് ശേഷം ബിജുവിന്റെ ഗംഭീര പ്രകടനമാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്. ഫിലിപ്പ് ഇടിക്കുള എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം ബിജു അല്ലാതെ വേറെ ആരു ചെയ്താലും ഇത്ര നന്നാവില്ല. നല്ല മദ്യപാനിയാണ് കക്ഷി. ഇഷ്ടം പോലെ പണം. “ലിവര് നല്ല കുങ്കുമപ്പൂ പോലെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോ...” എന്നൊക്കെയുള്ള തട്ടിവിടലുകള് സൂപ്പര്. പിന്നെ ചില മാനറിസങ്ങള്. ‘കര്ത്താവേ...മിന്നിച്ചേക്കണേ...” പോലുള്ള നമ്പരുകള്. ബിജു ശരിക്കും കസറി.
മനോജ് കെ ജയനും മികച്ച കഥാപാത്രമാണ് - റഷീദ് മുന്ന. ഒരു പ്രണയരോഗി. നന്നായി, ഒരു വ്യത്യസ്തത അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബനും പെര്ഫോം ചെയ്യാന് ഇടമുണ്ട്. അല്പ്പം മങ്ങിയത് ജയറാമാണ്. എങ്കിലും നല്ല ഊര്ജ്ജമുള്ള പ്രകടനം തന്നെയാണ് ജയറാമും നടത്തിയത്.
6. പോക്കിരിരാജയേക്കാള് വൈശാഖ് ഏറെ മുന്നേറിയിരിക്കുന്നു
വൈശാഖ് ഒരു നല്ല സംവിധായകനാണെന്ന് പോക്കിരിരാജയിലേ തെളിയിച്ചതാണ്. നല്ല സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് കിട്ടിയാല് വൈശാഖ് ഗംഭീരമാക്കും. ടെക്നിക്കലി ബ്രില്യന്റ്. പ്രേക്ഷകരെ സ്ക്രീനില് നിന്ന് കണ്ണെടുക്കാന് അനുവദിക്കാതെ കഥ മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുപോകാന് വൈശാഖിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു. ക്ലൈമാക്സിലെ സസ്പെന്സില് വലിയ ത്രില്ലൊന്നും ഒളിപ്പിച്ചു വയ്ക്കാന് സാധിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും സിനിമ കണ്ടിറങ്ങുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകന് ഹാപ്പിയാണ്. വളരെ ഫാസ്റ്റായി കഥ പറഞ്ഞു പോകാന് വൈശാഖിനു കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഈ ചെറുപ്പക്കാരന് നല്ല തിരക്കഥയില് മനോഹരങ്ങളായ എന്റര്ടെയ്നറുകള് തീര്ക്കാന് കഴിയുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പ്.

About the film:A good entertainer where there is increment in qualtiy of comedy
and camera work and script than in other similar products recently launched..
packed with double meaning comedy which is now a trend..
Casting:Jayaram,manoj k jayan,kunjako boban,biju menon was apt for their respective role.kunjakko and biju menon deliverd an while excellent perfomance,didnt means that jayaram and manoj k jayan did do their job but their was on a back foot when comparing with the other two.but overal an excellent perfomance from the 4.ananya looking good as well as perfomance was also nice but she still lacks meturity as an actress.all other actors in the film was done their job decently.overall in one word castind is outstanding.all shined in comedy department.
Direction & Script:i didnt expected this type of film from vyshak he is done a better job than what he done for pokkiriraja.he proved as a director now.but its visible that he tried to add masala element to the film to the max.anyway script writers are to be blamed for that,but what i do crowd is loving it.when considering the script itz best ever from sachi sethu ,they proved they are also capable to deliver a script that is similar or close in quality to bobby sanjay .they have done an excellent job.Comedy no's are all superbly scripted by them

Seniors...Classmates akkan nokki Chocolate engilum ayi...I liked the movie as an entertainer..only negative felt was some comedies looked like some skit..and there were good ones too..

disppointed to a certain extend with d story and charachters quite identical or similar to those in 'classmates'.(here manoj k jayan resembled indrajith's charachter ,padmapriya resembled kavya's charachter and both suraj and jagathy had similar charachters/.main similarity i noticed is d role played by siddique a role similar to balachandramenon's)
but its just d charachter's which resembled those in classmates...d story is different from classmates except that d old friends returns to college just lyk in classmates(which was a reunion).

watched seniors today.overall a good movie.comediesil chilathu vrithiketta comedies aayi poyi.recent aayi irangi hit aaya chila malayalam moviesinte same theme aanu kolapathakathinte reason aayi parayunnathu.bgm aanu ee padathinte main highlight.ee padam kandu irangiyalum ithinte bgm nammude manassilundavum.good work by gopisunder.he is brilliant in his job.a good entertainer.chinatown kandathinte ksheenam ee padam kandappol aanu mariyathu.

ഒരുപാട് പോസിറ്റീവ് റിവ്യൂ കണ്ട ത്രില്ലില് ആണ് മൂന്ന് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുമായി
തീയേറ്ററില് എത്തിയത്.
ഒറ്റ വാകില് സിനിമയെ കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞാല് 'ആശയധരിധ്ര്യത്ത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തമ
ഉദാഹരണം . അത്യാവശ്യം നല്ല ആളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു തീയേറ്ററില് .തുടക്കം മുദാലെയുള്ള
നിലവാരമില്ലാത്ത തമാശകള് കണ്ടു ഇറങ്ങിപോയാലോ എന്ന് കരുതി. ടിന്റുമോന്
