as an ENTERTAINER,,a superb movie,,
Dileep again showed the magical perfomance with 100% orginality to the lady charecter!
1st half was amazing Housefull aaya theatre ilakimarinja ist half
2nd half alpam dragging airunnu.pinne climax pala scensum bore airunnu.
But Dileep,,really charmed the audience with his through out starism........
Baburaj!addeham magical perfomance kazhcha vachu kond chiriude malappadakkom kond koodaram ketti..

of all about the crowd, nearly 40 % of the audience was female
audience, so we boys had to struggle a lot for getting the ticket. This
is a long time i am seeing such a family rush for a movie in the first
day. I think the verdict of the movie is decided by how family audience
take it. I had a feeling that they enjoyed it a lot, because the front
two rows were families and i saw them sometimes jumping up and welcomed
the comedies in the first half even though all were double meaning-ed comedies. I personally felt families are taking the movie.
About the movie the title card
was superb, which i felt was brilliant introducing all technicians with
their photos behind the screen. About the movie it is all the same old
wine of Dillep movies punched with a new character - MAYAMOHINI.....A
character Mohan due to circumstances act as a lady and the stories
behind it. The movie has a resemblance with dilleps old films like
chess, crazzy gopalan etc. Dileep performed well in the role, but at
some stages we feel it dragging. Babu raj
stealed the show again with a splendor performance. Biju Menon was
good. Lekshmi rai & mythili was ok. Following baburaj Abusalim was
also brought to the comedy track with this movie, the trend of villan
becomes comedians continues with it.
I am not going much into the story. But the film is a one time watch specially for the FIRST HALF. Same as ordinary movie, Mayamohini has an EXTRAORDINARY FIRST HALF & AN ORDINARY SECOND HALF.
The verdict of the movie depends on how families take the, too much
double meaning-ed comedies. But today's response calls a minimum HIT
status for the movie. But i rate it in between a Hit and a Super hit. Go for it for Dileep's role in the first half and Baburaj. As now its vacation time, the movie will have a great initial.
