Is 'Nayika' inspired by Sreevidya's life?

* It hasn't been long since Ranjith made the remarkable 'Thirakkatha' that was loosely based on Sreevidya's life.

The director had later clarified that his film had nothing to do with the life of the actress.

However, now it seems that another film is being made based on the life of the much loved actress. Jayaraj's 'Nayika' that stars Sarada in the lead role is also reportedly based on Sreevidya's life.

Deedi Damodaran has penned the script of the film. The film would also have Madhu, Jayaram and Sabitha Jayaraj doing key roles.

is this the movie based on Vinu Abraham's novel NASHTA NAYIKA. heard its going to be made a movie. the novel was a fictional account of the life of PK Rosie the first heroine of Mal cinema - the nayika of VIGATHAKUMARAN. It was only recently the photo of this heroine was traced out.
