Well after some tome,there is some thing to laugh in a movie.HC is a brainless comedy thriller in a hyperlink format.I you are a fan of Priyadarshan movies,U will enjoy this for sure.
SCRIPT:I will say this is the best script of Anoop Menon after Beautiful.The most difficult thing to make is comedy which laughs someone.Anoop Menon has succeded in creating some fresh and non cliche comedy.The multiple narrative format is not new to malayalam,priyadarshan has tried in 30 years ago,but this one os more complex.The story is a confusing one,we will be in a dilemma for the first 30 minutes with out knowing who is who.The usual factors of boring 'Anoop Menon philosophy' also comes in between, like glorified prostitution,concepts about life,and now pimping also.The Nandu terrosist gang is really humerous,the Vodafone guy Nobin steals the show there.The logic less dialogues,which are meant for humour,there is little or no chali as far as im concerned.
DIRECTION:Aji Jons third venture[after Nallavan and Nammukku parkkan] is way better than his previos movies.He ooks promising in diong comedy .He clould have made it in in more Slap stick way like Priyadarshan.I realy appreciate his casting.Bringing Shankar,Nandu,Nobin,Commisioner Jojo,Babu naboothiri was a good move.
ACTING:Most of the charachters did their role perfectly.Jayasurya once again proved that he is the most versatile among the young artists.His style and sttitude proves that he can do even a mafia don role,hats off.Anoop menon pays the good guy as usual!!.Shakar, Jojo,krishna,krishnaprabha surprised by renedring some good comedies.In the female leads had nothing to do.
TECHNICAL:It is an average movie when it comes to technical side.The thing that attracted me is the costumes.
MUSIC:Its a nice work so far by Shaan Rahman.He is always experimental in terms of BGM,that works for these kinds of movies.But the songs were boring me to death[its picturisation too]
It is like spending your leisure time in the theatre.Even if the story is logicless it will make you laugh,some times that is what is needed right.?

പടം കണ്ടു. വൻ സംഭവം ഒന്നും പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചില്ല.
എങ്കിലും കുറച്ചു അശ്ലീലം ആയാലും വേണ്ടില്ല
കണ്ടു രസിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ് പോയത്.
പക്ഷെ.. ഇതെന്തുവാ ഈ കാണിച്ചു വച്ചേക്കുന്നത് ?
പ്രിയദർശൻ സിനിമകളിലെ പോലെന്തൊക്കെയോ ആണ്
കാണിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചത് എന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി.
ചീറ്റിപ്പോയി എന്ന് മാത്രം അല്ല വെറുപ്പിക്കേം ചെയ്തു.
പത്തു പൈസക്ക് കൊള്ളത്തില്ല.
ദയവു ചെയ്തു ആ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് ആരും പോകരുത്
എന്ന് വിനീതമായി അപേക്ഷിച്ച് കൊള്ളുന്നു.

ഡേവിഡ്‌ ആന്‍ഡ്‌ ഗോലിയാത്തില്‍ അല്‍പ്പമൊന്നു പാളിപ്പോയെങ്കിലും ഈ ചിത്രം നന്നേ രസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ അദ്ധേഹത്തിനു കഴിഞ്ഞു....
ട്രിവാന്‍ഡ്രം ലോഡ്ജിനെതിരേയും നല്ല രീതിയില്‍ വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നുവെങ്കിലും പടം സൂപ്പര്‍ ഹിറ്റ്‌ ആയിരുന്നല്ലോ...അതുപോലെ ഈ ചിത്രവും അങ്ങ് വിജയിച്ചോളും....

Anoop Menon's Make hay while sun shines, ( pachamalayaalathil, kaattullappo th@#$%nna erppadu) act continues, and the latest installment to the series is nothing but a weird mixture of all the substandard stuffs which we had enough by now.. What happens when a oneliner writer like Anoop Menon joins hands with a below of below average director just to make some business which makes use of the glory(??) of his previous works? anything can happen, but certainly not better than Trivandram Lodge.
Hotel California deals with the mishappenings and confusions when a local Don called Airport Jimmy tries to bring some anticipated passengers of the Pushpak airlines to make some personal benefits.
Film which had nothing to offer other than some witty oneliners and the skin shows of our own not so B grade actresses was irritatating to the core for the most of its running time if not a better second half which had some of its moments spot on, but only a few.
The factor which saves the film from not being pathetic is casting unlike the Major Ravi movies.. It is always a relief to see decent acts on screen. Jayasurya as airport Jimmy was appealing, thanx to the style quotient even if the buildup was completely irrelevant...Oooops...just forgot that am talking about a movie, which itself was completely irrelevant..Rest of the cast includes all other regular faces in the Anoop Menon derby,and no one was bad, eventhough Appu Nair along with Anoop Menon himself has nothing to do. Yeah, Appu had, but only to contribute towards the A factor..Hey,,Dont expect anything big. Jojo got a break and he made me chuckle,to be frank.
Read somewhere recently that Anoop Menon saying, Cinema as his lover and lifetime passion. If this is the way he treat his lover, (business and only business) better he shoud fabricate one...what?? A bakbone.!!!

പകൽ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളിൽ തുടങ്ങി കാലിഫോർണിയ വരെ എത്തി നിൽക്കുമ്പോൾ ആ പ്രതീക്ഷകൾ ഒക്കെ തകിടം മറിയുകയാണ്..

After setting high stds with COcktail(Dialogues),Beautiful n TVM LODdge.... Dis comes as a shocker... Oru thara padam....in d name f comedy.... 10 scenel comedy try cheyyunnu....3 ennam eekkum....njan chirichu.... baakky 7??? no answer..... story onnum illa....just kure scenes...
An ad f diz film compared diz comedy with Ramjirao n mazha peyyunnu... Koodi poyi....
Sankar entu koppa kaanikkane?? aa roomil Oliche kande ennokke parayumpo aaru chirikkana??
Jayasurya was also too casual..... Just ckeck dat sene where he says"Njan straight work out cheyyunnavana"... Oru chinna don aanenkilum parayunnadu Janapriyanile naattinpuran slangil....chey.....waste...
