മധുപാല്‍ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ‘സോള്‍ട്ട് & പെപ്പര്‍’!
ഒരു സിനിമ കണ്ടാല്‍ അതില്‍ ഒരു നല്ല സംവിധായകന്‍റെ കരസ്പര്‍ശമുണ്ട് എന്ന് വ്യക്തമാകുന്ന അപൂര്‍വം ചിത്രങ്ങളേ മലയാളത്തില്‍ ഇന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുള്ളൂ. പല ചിത്രങ്ങളും കുത്തഴിഞ്ഞ രീതിയില്‍ ഇറങ്ങുന്നു. എന്തൊക്കെയോ കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടുന്ന, സിനിമയെന്ന് പേരിട്ട് വിളിക്കാന്‍ പോലും അര്‍ഹതയില്ലാത്ത സൃഷ്ടികള്‍.
എന്നാല്‍ ചില സിനിമകള്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അതില്‍ കയ്യടക്കമുള്ള ഒരു സംവിധായകന്‍റെ സാന്നിധ്യം പ്രേക്ഷകര്‍ക്ക് അനുഭവിക്കാനാകും. ‘തലപ്പാവ്’ എന്ന സിനിമ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ മധുപാല്‍ എന്ന സംവിധായകന്‍റെ മികവ് ഏവര്‍ക്കും ബോധ്യമായതാണ്. 2008ലായിരുന്നു തലപ്പാവ് റിലീസായത്. അതിന് ശേഷം മൂന്നുവര്‍ഷം മധുപാല്‍ സംവിധാനരംഗത്ത് നിശബ്ദത പാലിച്ചു.
ഏറെ തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് തന്‍റെ രണ്ടാം ചിത്രം മധുപാല്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ‘ഒഴിമുറി’ എന്നാണ് പുതിയ ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ പേര്. ‘സോള്‍ട്ട് ആന്‍റ് പെപ്പര്‍’ ടീം ഈ സിനിമയിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും എത്തുന്നു എന്നതാണ് പ്രത്യേകത. ലാല്‍, ആസിഫ് അലി, ശ്വേതാ മേനോന്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് ഒഴിമുറിയിലെ പ്രധാന താരങ്ങള്‍.
പത്മപ്രിയ, ഭാവന എന്നിവരും പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കും. സങ്കീര്‍ണമായ ഒരു പ്രമേയത്തിന്‍റെ രസകരമായ അവതരണമാണ് ‘ഒഴിമുറി’യിലൂടെ മധുപാല്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുക.
എന്തായാലും സോള്‍ട്ട് ആന്‍റ് പെപ്പര്‍ താരങ്ങള്‍ വീണ്ടും ഒന്നിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ വിജയം ആവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനാകുമോ എന്ന് കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ് സിനിമാലോകം.

Lal, Asif again for 'Ozhimuri'
The Mollywood cine goers had loved the combination of Lal and Asif Ali in 'Salt N Pepper' to such an extent that the movie went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2011. The same duo will again come together with Shwetha Menon, another big name of 2012 for the new movie titled as 'Ozhimuri'.
To be directed by Madhupal after his critically acclaimed debut in 'Thalappavu', this new project 'Ozhimuri' will feature the scripts by Jaya Mohan, who had made a name in Tamil with the scripting of the big hit 'Angadi Theru'. Bhavana and Padmapriya are also in the cast of the movie which will be on sets by the month of April.
Meanwhile, Asif Ali will be eagerly waiting for the release of his first action thriller 'Asuravithu' this weekend, the success of which will mean a super star berth for the young star.

Madhupal’s next film is Ozhimuri
After his first directorial venture Thalapavu, Madhupal is now preparing for his next film Ozhimuri. Jaya Mohan who had scripted the story for Tamil film `Angaditheruvu’ has penned the screenplay for the film. Lal, Asif Ali, Swetha Menon, Bhavana and Padmapriya are appearing in important roles. Shoot will begin at Thakkala in April first week.

Shwetha Menon as Lal's mother in 'Ozhimuri'
Actor turned director Madhupal is currently busy with his second film as a director, 'Ozhimuri'. His previous film, 'Thalappavu' was a critically acclaimed film and have fetched numerous awards in that year, including the state's best actor award for it's lead Lal.

This film features Asif Ali, Bhavana, Shwetha Menon, Lal, Mallika etc in its cast. Also Bijibal is doing the music and Azhagappan is doing the cinematography.
