Fazil back again with 'Living Together'
Fazil is a director well remembered even if he is away from Kollywood for many years. The family entertainer who gave outstanding films in Tamil like Poove Poo Chooda Vaa Poovizhi Vasalile, Varusham 16 and Kadhalukku Mariyadhai is ready to strike again after some years.
His last film in Tamil was the Srikanth-Sonia Agarwal starrer ‘Oru Naal Oru Kanavu’ in 2005. The box office debacle of ‘Oru Naal Oru Kanavu’ had kept away Fazil for some time.
Now Fazil is all charged up to direct his next film in Tamil which will be a remake of his Malayalam film ‘Living Together’ which is in its finishing stage.
To some people who raised objections to the film after going by its title and imagining a controversial story, Fazil had this to say “wait for the film to release in Malayalam, watch it and then comment.
‘Living Together’ in Malayalam is a musical love story starring Hemant and Shreelekha in lead roles. Sources say Fazil’s good friend Priyadarshan has agreed to produce the Tamil film and Fazil will soon hold auditions in Chennai looking for new faces to act in the film.
