Shaji kailas n Prithviraj joins again for "Godse". Shaji kailas himself do the screenplay for the film."Godse" is one among the D company package. Duration is about half an hour. Shooting will starts soon. There are 5 movies in D company. First one among the package "a bolivian diary 995" has started shooting, M. Padmakumar gets the direction task and Samudrakani does the major role as a maoist with code name "chaukidar". Asif ali, Narian also stars in "bolivian diary" script is by G.S.Anil. Second one is "gangs of vadakunathan". Deepan with the experince of Puthiyamugam and Hero does the direction, script is by Anoop menon. Fahad fazil, Unni Mukundan, Anoop menon, Jaysurya,Murali gopi stars here. D company an action movie package of 5 short films. Remaining films are directed by Joshi and Vinod vijayan and punch marker is by Joshi's film where Mohanlal stars and Ranjith is on script.

PRITHVIRAJ TO PLAY GODSE

After Simhasanam, actor Prithviraj and director Shaji Kailas are joining hands for yet another project. The action anthology, D Company, will see the director working on one of the segments.
Titled Godse, the flick will see Prithviraj essaying the role of Nathuram Vinayak Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi. Confirming the news the director says, “The movie is about the conflict of emotions and explores the turmoil that Godse goes through the night before he kills Mahatma Gandhi.,” he says, adding, “It’s basically the fight between the good and the evil. There is an intense struggle that Godse goes through before committing the crime. Finally, he does it, justifying it as God’s wish.”
There will be very few characters in the flick as the movie will be made as
a soliloquy of Godse, as he weighs the pros and cons of his deed. “We have taken our inspiration from Freedom at Midnight, the book by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre. There is a particular portion that describes what Godse went through,” says Shaji. The final pages of the book describe in detail the events that led to the tragic end of Mahatma Gandhi and the plot devised by Godse. The scripting is done by Shaji and Rajesh Jayaraman. The director hopes to begin the shoot soon after he wraps up his current project, Madirasi.
