About the movie-Realistic movie based on Bombay blast incidents.Ikka's role similar to Hemanth Karkare.A good execution of a real incident in celluloid
The movie maintained both thrill and sentimence throughout the movie.Jayasurya was awesome.His dream of meeting ar rahman,his love track,that part was quite interesting.Then stories of a kid who doesnt get care from his parents,story of a lady who is trying hard to find money for her grandpa's hujj trip,then story of a girl who is under immense pressure from parents to go for work abroad which she doesnt like and finally mammookka's story as an officet in Ats wing who have lost his wife and daughter through a terrorist attack.Perfect mix of Sentimence in all these stories but that appoppan,muslim girl and that girl who played jayasurya's pair didnt impress through acting part.
First half deals with how terrorists plan attacks in 7 major stations in Mumbai Sub-urban track. It was interesting.Then as usual,ikka as officer tracks them.Again thrilling scenes,but not absolutely thrilling.Second half deals with more of more of stories of above mentioned people.Good execution that any normal viewer will like.
Right in the beginning the bomb blast scenes are shown.So we know what is going to happen at the end.Eventhough,the 15 mins before bomb balst scenes were ultra thrilling.
There is nothing much to perform for mammookka.But 1 scene really shows his class.The scene he remembers about his flashback and telling it to his daughter.The way he performs controlled emotions..Great..Best actor in india who can do that.Notable performances from sai kumar.All others below average.
Negative.Cant say whether its a negative.Climax is just copy paste of what happened in real life incident.I know it could end only that way.But still . . Dont know whether it could have been made better.
Rating-9/10 just before climax.6.5/10 because of real life,negative climax!

NAMUKKU EDAYIL JEEVIKKUNNA CHILA MANUSHUYARUDE JEEVITHAVUM PRATHEEKSHAKALUM ORU NIMISHAM KONDU POTTI CHITARUMNNATHU VEDANAYODEYE KANAN PATTU. jayasurya's character ... തന്റേതായ ചില സ്വപ്നങ്ങള് മനസ്സില് കൊണ്ട് നടക്കുന്ന ഒരു കലാകാരന് , റഹ്മാന്റെ ട്രൌപില് audition ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് നടക്കുന്ന ചെറുപ്പക്കാരന് ....
Aanchal sabarvaal... ആത്മഹത്യയുടെ മുന്നില് നിന്ന് വഴിമാറി സഞ്ചരിച്ച പെണ്കുട്ടി .... ജയസുര്യയുടെ കഥാപാത്രം അവളുടെ ജീവിതത്തില് വരുത്തിയ മാറ്റം , പിന്നീടു ജയസുര്യയെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടാന് കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു !!
Sabitha jayaraj ... തന്റെ മുത്തച്ചന് ഹജ്ജ് യാത്രക്കായി പണം സ്വരൂപിക്കാനായി എത്തുന്നു. സ്വാന്തന്ത്ര്യ സമര പെന്ഷന് വാങ്ങിക്കാന് കഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു . അതിനിടയില് സര്ക്കാര് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ അനാസ്തക്ക് ഇരയാകുന്നു !!
MAMMOOTY... Inteligence officer kedarnath... തീവ്രവാതതിനെതിരെ പൊരുതുന്ന ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന് ... തന്റെ കുടുംബം തീവ്രവാത ആക്രമണത്തില് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു .... തീവ്രവാതം തടയാന് പൊരുതുന്നു ...

story passes through different tracks... through 5 peoples life....
but all ends in one place.... jayaraj's direction was brilliant... mammoty's performance was good , and jayasurya too...
EDITING of the movie is simply AWESOME.. vivek harshan did a good job...
CINEMATOGRAPHY is really noticable...technically good especially the location fully in a crowdy CST mumbai....
music by sreenivas was really nice,, especially that song sung by yesudas....
movie gave good message against terrorism...and bad effect of terrorism... from starting to end director succede to maintain thrill of the movie... CLIMAX of the movie is really heart touching...some thing expected really but unexpected in a CINEMA...
comparing other masala movies this one is a good treat... mostly mammooty fans does not like this movie, i think so...mammotyude recent aayi vanna masala padangil ninnu 100 % BEST movie ennu venamengil parayaam...

Saw from tvm New.....valya rush pratheekshicha poyathu...but got tickets easily...balcony was only 80% filled....about the film...film had its heart in the right place...but entho oru missing undu....too many tracks in the movie.....thammil bedham jayasuryayude track anu.......mammoottyude track was just average...his performance is also not that gr8.....ithe same genreil petta oru film last yr erangiyirunnu....vedam....that film is far better than this one.....the main negative of this film is that nammalil oru feelum undakkunnilla ee film....nalla scope ulla oru theme ayirunnu...but i would say the film failed in its execution.....4/10...

പകുതി ദൂരം രാജധാനി പോലെ പിന്നെ സാദാ ട്രെയിന്

ഈ പടത്തില് കാര്യമായ പ്രതീക്ഷയൊന്നുമില്ലായിരുന്നു.വളരെ പെട്ടെന്ന് ഷൂട്ടിങ്ങ് തീറ്ത്ത പടം എന്നു കേട്ടപ്പോള് തന്നെ പടം തട്ടിക്കൂട്ടാണെന്ന തോന്നല് ഏതാണ്ടു ഉറച്ചു.പിന്നെ തിരക്കഥ ജയരാജ് തന്നെ എന്നതു ഉള്ള പ്രതീക്ഷകളും കളഞ്ഞു.(ലൌഡ് സ്പീക്കറിലെ പാളിച്ചകള്ക്കു കാരണം അതിന്റ്റെ കെട്ടുറപ്പില്ലാത്ത തിരക്കഥയായിരുന്നു).പിന്നെ ആല്ബം സോങ്ങ് പോലെയുള്ള പാട്ടുകള്.എന്നാലും ട്രെയില്രും പ്രതീക്ഷ നല്കി.പിന്നെ രണ്ടാഴ്ച്ചയായി ഒരു പടവും കാണാത്തതു കൊണ്ട് എന്തായാലും കാണാം എന്നു കരുതി.
ആദ്യം തന്നെ പറയട്ടെ ഇതു ഒരു മുഴുനീള മമ്മൂട്ടി ചിത്രമല്ല.ട്രാഫിക്ക് പോലെയുള്ള (ട്രാഫിക്കിന്റ്റെ അത്ര നിലവാരമില്ലെങ്കിലും) ജനുസ്സില് പെട്ട ഒരു ചിത്രത്തില് തുല്യ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ധാരാളം കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൊരാളായി ഒരു പ്രധാന വേഷത്തില് മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ചിത്രത്തിലുണ്ടു.
മമ്മൂട്ടി ഹേമന്ദ് കറ്ക്കറെയുമായി സാമ്യമുള്ള എ.ടി.എസ് ഓഫീസറ് കേദാറ്നാഥായി വേഷമിടുന്നു.ജയസൂര്യ ഒരു മുംബൈയിലെ തെരുവുകളില് ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഗായകനാകാന് മോഹിക്കുന്ന കഥാപാത്രം.ഇങ്ങനെ പല കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതത്തെ ഒരു ചുരുങ്ങിയ സമയത്തിനുള്ളില് ഒരു ട്രെയിന് യാത്ര എങ്ങനെ മാറ്റിമറിച്ചു എന്നാണ് ചിത്രം പറയുന്നതു.
തുടക്കം അതിഗംഭീരം.അതു തികച്ചും അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായിരുന്നു.ഒരു എഡ്ജ് ഓഫ് ദ് സീറ്റ് ത്രില്ലറ് പോലെയായിരുന്ന് തീവണ്ടി പോയത്.ഇട്യ്ക്കിടെ മറ്റു കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കു വരുന്നെങ്കിലും ത്രില്ല് നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.ഇടയ്ക്കു വരുന്ന രണ്ടു പാട്ടുകള് മാത്രമാണ് കുറച്ചു ത്രില്ല് കുറയ്ക്കുന്നതു.ഒരു ഗംഭീരം ഒന്നാം പകുതി.ഗോപി സുന്ദറിന്റ്റെ പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതം തകറ്പ്പന്.ചിത്രത്തെ ത്രില്ലിങ്ങായി നിറ്ത്തുന്നതില് വളരെയധികം സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
എന്താ പറയുക സച്ചി സേതുവിന്റ്റെ അസുഖം-അതായതു ഒന്നാം പകുതി നല്ല രീതിയില് കൊണ്ടു പോയതിനു ശേഷം രണ്ടാം പകുതി കുളമാക്കുക എന്ന അസുഖം ഒരു പകറ്ച്ച വ്യാധി പോലെ മലയാള സിനിമയില് പടറ്ന്നു പിടിക്കുകയാണേന്ന് സമീപകാല ചിത്രങ്ങള് കണ്ടാലറിയാം.അടിയന്തര ചികിത്സ അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്.ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റ്റെ രണ്ടാം പകുതി മോശമാണ് എന്നല്ല.പക്ഷേ രാജധാനി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് പോലെ തകറ്ത്തോടിയിരുന്ന പടതിന്റ്റെ രണ്ടാം പ്കുതി വേറും ശരാശരി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് ട്രെയിന്.

ഒരു ത്രില്ലറ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാന കാര്യം-പാട്ടുകള് ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും ഏറ്റവും നല്ലതു.അതല്ലെങ്കിലും കഴിയുന്നതും പാട്ടുകളുടേ എണ്ണം കുറയ്ക്കുക.ഒന്ന് അല്ലെങ്കില് പരമാവ്ധി രണ്ടു പാടുകള്.പക്ഷെ 12 മണിക്കൂറിനിടേ നടക്കുന്ന സംഭവകഥ പറ്യുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില് 5 പാട്ടുകള്

ജയസൂര്യയുടെ കഥപാത്രം പാട്ടുകാരനാണു.അതു കൊണ്ട് 2 എണ്ണം ക്ഷമിക്കാം.ആദ്യ പ്കുതിയിലെ 2 പാട്ടുകള് വലിയ പരിക്കുണ്ടാക്കിയില്ല.എന്നാല് രണ്ടാം പകുതിയിലേ 3 പാട്ടുകള് ഒരു മികച്ച ചിത്രമാകേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന സിനിമയെ പുറകോട്ടടിച്ചു.പാട്ടുകളാണു ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന വില്ലന്.
രണ്ടാം പകുതി മോശമല്ലെങ്കിലും ഒന്നാം പകുതി നല്കിയ വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷകള്ക്കൊത്തുയരാനായില്ല.ആ പാട്ടുകള് വരുന്ന സമയത്ത് കൂവലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.ഒരു ആല്ബം സോങ്ങ് പോലെയുള്ള പാട്ടിനു മുഴുനീള് കൂവലാണു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചത്.അത്രയ്ക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന.വേറ
ജയരാജിന്റ്റെ സംവിധാനം മികച്ചതായിരുന്നു.ചില പാളിച്ചകള് എന്നു പറയാമെങ്കില് ചില സ്ലോമോഷന് സീനുകള് മാത്രമാണ്.പിന്നെ മമ്മൂട്ടിക്കു അമിത പ്രാധാന്യമില്ലാത്ത ചിത്രത്തില് ഇന്ട്രൊഡക്ഷന് സീനു പോലെയുള്ള സ്ലോമോഷന് സീനു ബോറായിരുന്നു.പിന്നെ സാമാന്യം നല്ല തിരക്കഥ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനുണ്ട്.ഒന്നാം പകുതി നന്നായെങ്കിലും അതു നില നിറ്ത്താനായില്ല.അനാവശ്യമായ പാട്ടുകള് കാരണം എന്തു സംഭവിക്കും എന്നൊക്ക ജയരാജിനു കൂടി അറിയാവുന്ന കാര്യമാണ്.പക്ഷേ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റ്റെ തിരക്കത്ത 2 മണിക്കൂറ് പ്രേക്ഷകരെ പിടിച്ചിരുത്താന് പറ്റില്ല എന്നറിഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട് ബാക്കി ഒരു 30-40 മിനുറ്റിന്റ്റെ ഗ്യാപ്പു ഫില്ലിങ്ങായിട്ടയിരിക്കും 5 പാട്ടുകള് എന്ന എളുപ്പപ്പണി.അവിടെയാണ് ബോബി-സഞ്ജയ്,ജെയിംസ് ആല്ബറ്ട്ട് പോലുള്ളവരുടെ ശക്ത്മായ തിരക്കഥ വേണ്ടതു.ജയരാജ് തന്നെ നിറ്മ്മാതാവാകുമ്പോള് ആ കാര്യം ഉറപ്പു വരുത്തേണ്ട് ബാധ്യത അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ടു.

ഈ കുറവുകളൊക്കെയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും വ്യത്യ്സ്താമായ ചിത്ര്ങ്ങളെ അംഗീകരിക്കാന് മനസ്സുള്ളവറ്ക്കു അനിത പ്രതീക്ഷകളില്ലാതെ പോയാല് പല കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിലും കണ്ണടയ്ക്കാം.’എന്റ്ററ്റ്റെയിനറുകള്’ എന്ന പേരില് വെറും വഷളന് ചിത്രങ്ങള് ഇറ്ങ്ങുന്ന കാലമാണു.ഇതൊക്കെ വച്ചു നോക്കുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീര ഒന്നാം പകുതിയും ശരാശരി/ശരാശരിക്കു താഴെയുള്ള(ഒന്നാം പ്കുതിയുമായി താരതംയം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്) രണ്ടാം പകുതിയുമിള്ള ഒരു നല്ല ചിത്രം എന്നു പറയാം.

വാല്ക്കഷണം-ബിരിയാണി എനിക്കു വളരെ ഇഷ്ടമാണ്.പട്ടിണി കിട്ക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഞാന് ഒരിടത്തെക്കു പോകുന്നു.ബിരിയാണി ലഭിക്കാനുള്ള് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.എന്നാലതു വഴുതിപ്പോയി.ചോറും കറിയുമാണ് കിട്ടിയതു.പക്ഷേ പട്ടിണി കിടക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നറിഞ്ഞു പേയവനു ചോറും കറിയുമെങ്കിലും കിട്ടിയല്ലോ.ആശ്വാസം.

ചില കാരങ്ങള് പറയാന് വിട്ടു പോയി
ഗോപി സുന്ദറ്-തകറ്പ്പന്-തന്റ്റെ ക്ഴിഞ്ഞ ചിത്രമായ സീനിയേഴ്സില്ല തല്ലിപ്പൊളി പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതം നല്കിയ ഗോപി സുന്ദറ് ഇതില് കിടിലനാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടു.വളരെ ത്രില്ലിങ്ങ്.സിനിമയുടെ അവിഭാജ്യ ഘടകം.
ശീനിവാസിന്റ്റെ സംഗീതം വേറെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ചിത്രത്തിലാറ്യിരുന്നെങ്കില് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപെട്ടേനെ.ഈ ചിതത്തില് ഒട്ടും ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്ത കാര്യമായിരുന്ന പാട്ടുകള്-നല്ലതായാലും മേശമായാലും.
സീനു മുരിക്കുമ്പുഴയുടെ ക്യാമറ വറ്ക്കു നന്നായിരുന്നു.ക്യാമറാമാനാ ഒരു പാട് വെല്ലുവിളികള് നേരിടുന്നു ചിത്രമാണ് ട്രെയിന്.അതു പോലെ വിവേക് ഹറ്ഷന്റ്റെ എഡിറ്റിങ്ങും നന്നായി.തിരക്കഥയിലെ ചില പാളിച്ചകള്ക്കു എഡിറ്ററ്ക്കു ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാന് പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ.
നടന്മാരില് മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ജയസൂര്യയും മികച്ചു നിന്നു.സബിതാ ജയരാജും നന്നായിരുന്നു.മറ്റുള്ളവരെല്ലാം മോശമില്ലാതെ ചെയ്തു.
ഈ ചിത്രം അധികം മാറ്ക്കറ്റിങ്ങ് നടത്താഞ്ഞതു കൊണ്ടു ഇനീഷ്യല് പുള്ള് കുറ്യും.പക്ഷേ മമ്മൂട്ടി മുഴുനീള നായക വേഷം ചെയ്യാത്ത ചിത്രമായ്തിനാല് അതു നന്നായി എന്നു വേണം കരുതാന്.
ഈ ചിത്രത്തില് ലോകസിനിമയില് ഇതു വരേ ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്ത എന്തോ സങ്കേതം ഉപയോഗിചിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.എന്താണെന്നു മനസ്സിലായില്ല.
പക്ഷേ മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ ഒരുവിധം സംവിധായകരൊക്കെ ചെയ്യാന് മടിക്കുന്ന ഭയക്കുന്ന ഒരു റിസ്ക്ക് ചിത്രത്തില് ജയരാജ് എറ്റുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിന്റ്റെ അന്തരഫലമെന്തായാലും ജയരാജിന്റ്റെ ധൈര്യം സമ്മതിച്ചു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഗോപി സുന്ദറ്-തകറ്പ്പന്-തന്റ്റെ ക്ഴിഞ്ഞ ചിത്രമായ സീനിയേഴ്സില്ല തല്ലിപ്പൊളി പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതം നല്കിയ ഗോപി സുന്ദറ് ഇതില് കിടിലനാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടു.വളരെ ത്രില്ലിങ്ങ്.സിനിമയുടെ അവിഭാജ്യ ഘടകം.
ശീനിവാസിന്റ്റെ സംഗീതം വേറെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ചിത്രത്തിലാറ്യിരുന്നെങ്കില് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപെട്ടേനെ.ഈ ചിതത്തില് ഒട്ടും ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്ത കാര്യമായിരുന്ന പാട്ടുകള്-നല്ലതായാലും മേശമായാലും.
സീനു മുരിക്കുമ്പുഴയുടെ ക്യാമറ വറ്ക്കു നന്നായിരുന്നു.ക്യാമറാമാനാ ഒരു പാട് വെല്ലുവിളികള് നേരിടുന്നു ചിത്രമാണ് ട്രെയിന്.അതു പോലെ വിവേക് ഹറ്ഷന്റ്റെ എഡിറ്റിങ്ങും നന്നായി.തിരക്കഥയിലെ ചില പാളിച്ചകള്ക്കു എഡിറ്ററ്ക്കു ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാന് പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ.
നടന്മാരില് മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ജയസൂര്യയും മികച്ചു നിന്നു.സബിതാ ജയരാജും നന്നായിരുന്നു.മറ്റുള്ളവരെല്ലാം മോശമില്ലാതെ ചെയ്തു.
ഈ ചിത്രം അധികം മാറ്ക്കറ്റിങ്ങ് നടത്താഞ്ഞതു കൊണ്ടു ഇനീഷ്യല് പുള്ള് കുറ്യും.പക്ഷേ മമ്മൂട്ടി മുഴുനീള നായക വേഷം ചെയ്യാത്ത ചിത്രമായ്തിനാല് അതു നന്നായി എന്നു വേണം കരുതാന്.
ഈ ചിത്രത്തില് ലോകസിനിമയില് ഇതു വരേ ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്ത എന്തോ സങ്കേതം ഉപയോഗിചിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.എന്താണെന്നു മനസ്സിലായില്ല.
പക്ഷേ മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ ഒരുവിധം സംവിധായകരൊക്കെ ചെയ്യാന് മടിക്കുന്ന ഭയക്കുന്ന ഒരു റിസ്ക്ക് ചിത്രത്തില് ജയരാജ് എറ്റുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിന്റ്റെ അന്തരഫലമെന്തായാലും ജയരാജിന്റ്റെ ധൈര്യം സമ്മതിച്ചു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Hats off Mammookha for doing such a tremendous supeb role. It will be one among his best. Its based on 2007 series bomb blast.
Must watch, pls watch in theatres.
About its storyline ..
Its based on true incidents on the11 July 2006 Mumbai train bomb blast series of seven bomb blasts that took place over a period of 11 minutes on the Suburban Railway in Mumbai. Killed 209 people. The film says about 5 people travelling in the train & their lifes. No gymmics, punch dialogues from Kedarnath (Mammootty). Jayasurya, Sabitha Jayaraj, Saikumar & each & every cast did their part well. The film will wet your eyes, dats sure.

After reading many negative review i thought better to not watch movie but i am free today so i went for train.
i like the movie very much.some part really touching.it was far better than other multi star movies released this year other than traffic, seniors.(far far better than CT & CB)
and this was the 4th movie i liked in this year

all actors performed well.but not any one have scope for a big performance .

മുംബൈയില് ട്രെയിനുകളിലും ,റെയില്വേ സ്ടെഷനിലുമായി 7 ഇടങ്ങളില് 10 മിനുട്ടിനിടക്ക് തീവ്രവാദികള് സ്ഫോടനം നടത്തുന്നു , ഇതില് കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്ന ചിലര്(അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്, ഫോണിലൂടെ പരിചയപ്പെട്ട കാമുകിയെ ആദ്യമായി കാണാന് വരുന്ന ഗായകന് ,കൊച്ചുമകന്റെ പിറന്നാളിന് ഗിഫ്റ്റ് കൊടുക്കാന് പോകുന്ന വൃദ്ധന്, മുത്തച്ചന് ഹജ്ജിനു പോകാനുള്ള പൈസയും കൊണ്ട് വരുന്ന യുവതി ),ആ സ്ഫോടനങ്ങള് അവരെ ,അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളെ എങ്ങനെ ബാധിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഹൃദയസ്പര്ശിയായി പറയുന്നുണ്ട് ഈ ചിത്രം .
ചിത്രീകരണത്തിലെ ചില അപാകതകള് മൂലം "excellent" എന്നതിന് പകരം ഒരു "above average " അല്ലെങ്കില് "good" എന്നൊക്കെ പറയാം ഈ ചിത്രത്തെ.

saw the movie ..good one..ചിലര് കൂതറ ആണെന്ന് പറയുന്നത് കേട്ടു. എന്ടാണ് ഈ പടം കൊണ്ട് ഉദ്ടെഷിചിരിക്കുന്നടു എന്ന് മനസിലാകാട്ടവര് ആണ് അങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നത്.
ബോംബ് ബ്ലാസ്റ്റില് മരിച്ച 187 പെര്കും ഓരോ ലസ്ഖ്യവും സ്വപ്നവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചും ആശ്രയിച്ചും എത്രയോ പേര് ജീവിക്കുന്നു. അതാണ് 5 പേരുടെ ജീവിതം കാനിക്കുന്നടിലൂടെ ജയരാജ് പറയുന്നത്. അതോടൊപ്പം നമ്മുടെ defence ലെ പോരായ്മകളും ചില officers ന്റെ അനാസ്തകളും തുറന്നു കാണിക്കുന്നു. അതോടൊപ്പം ജാഗ്രത യുടെ സന്ദേശവും നല്കുന്നു.
അവസാന 10 മിനുട്ടില് superman നെപ്പോലെ എല്ലാ സ്റ്റേഷന് ലും mammootty പറന്നു വന്നു എല്ലാവരെയും രക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് സൂപ്പര് പടമാണെന്ന് പറയുന്ന ആള്കാര് ആണ് ഈ പടത്തെ പറഞ്ഞു പോട്ടിക്കുനത്.

"THE TRAIN", in which director Jayaraj and Megastar Mammootty teams up after class hit Loudspeaker. The team is back with a new attempt which is based on the 7/11 blasts that rocked the railway network in Mumbai.
The Train, narrates the happenings that took place between 6 am and 6 pm on the fateful day of the Mumbai train blasts. As Jayaraj said this movie was the thought that those 187 people who lost their lives had dreams and hopes that were never realised.
Megastar Mammootty plays the role of an Anti-Terror Squad officer named Kedarnath. Mammootty's character reminds the late ATS chief Hemanth Karkare, who lost his life during the terror attacks that rocked Mumbai city on November 26 in 2008. There is another important character, Karthik, played by Youth Star Jayasurya. Karthik is a track singer who is also a great fan of A.R. Rahman. He boards the train on the ill-fated day with dreams in his heart. He is in love with a girl (Aanchal Saberwal), who he met accidently througha phone call, and they decide to meet on July 11 at 6 pm. Jagathy Sreekumar plays a corrupt ATS officer. Saikumar is essaying the role of a Cyber-Cell officer while KPAC Lalitha and Sabitha have pivotal roles.
The film progresses as a four track thread; Mammootty and his chase to terrorists, Jayasurya-Aanchal Saberwal Love affair, Sabitha Jayaraj and family and a Grand pa-Grandson matter.
One might quibble with the fascist end of the film where the rule of law is given a go-by. But can terrorism and the death of innocent people ever be justified. The climax is an absolute knock-out with some thrilling movements.
The Train, narrates the happenings that took place between 6 am and 6 pm on the fateful day of the Mumbai train blasts. As Jayaraj said this movie was the thought that those 187 people who lost their lives had dreams and hopes that were never realised.
Megastar Mammootty plays the role of an Anti-Terror Squad officer named Kedarnath. Mammootty's character reminds the late ATS chief Hemanth Karkare, who lost his life during the terror attacks that rocked Mumbai city on November 26 in 2008. There is another important character, Karthik, played by Youth Star Jayasurya. Karthik is a track singer who is also a great fan of A.R. Rahman. He boards the train on the ill-fated day with dreams in his heart. He is in love with a girl (Aanchal Saberwal), who he met accidently througha phone call, and they decide to meet on July 11 at 6 pm. Jagathy Sreekumar plays a corrupt ATS officer. Saikumar is essaying the role of a Cyber-Cell officer while KPAC Lalitha and Sabitha have pivotal roles.
The film progresses as a four track thread; Mammootty and his chase to terrorists, Jayasurya-Aanchal Saberwal Love affair, Sabitha Jayaraj and family and a Grand pa-Grandson matter.

Mammootty and everyone else involved in the film is good, but they ought to be in something so simple. Mammootty is brilliant in his role as the ATS officer who despite being on his toes because of the threat does not lose the focus. Jayasurya seems to love walking away from the conventional mode and he is perfect. The Love thread between Jayasurya and Aanchal well executed. The rest of the cast including Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar,Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sheena, KPAC Lalitha, Salimkumar also have very believable roles.
As a director , Jayaraj hold on the script is admirable. "'The Train' is a tribute to those who died in Mumbai Blasts. The movie is not meant for entertainment because this is a realistic story; but will definitely touch your hearts especially the climax song which brought tears to my eyes "

Ithu oru hero oriented film alla.
The only negative I felt in this film is its resemblance with the Mammooty's Ranjith directed movie "Kayyoppu"
The Background music, choreography and other technical sides excelled in this movie..
"poove poli" song kazhinjittu Mammooty makalodu phonil samsarikkunna otta scene mathi adhehathinte caliber ariyaan.. athrakku heart touching aayirunnu...
jayasoorya did his best with natural acting..also he looked much more handsome..
Songs were good especially the one sung by little Alka ajith.
