Both Janapriyan and 3 Kings were big failures at the BOX Office, as far as theatre run is concerned.
Neither of the films run for 50 days of Regular show anywhere.
Janapriyan touched even 40 days in only 4-5 centres, that too with NS and 2 shows.
3 Kings also had a poor run, run past 40-50 days only in 3 centres.

I only told that Janapriyan was not a HIT and I supported it with figures.

Most members in here doesn't know the story and all so lets wait till the film releases. As for anti-hero, dhoomil John Abrham ine anti hero ennum Abhishekine Hero ennum parayam, but that doesn't mean anything. Asif Ali is getting good recognition/attention from medias whether he deserves it or not..Even Manorama was promoting their sakalakala episode claiming "more about Asif Ali's puthiya mukham in Ordinary" in the ad.. I was not telling its a solo film, but rather both can be considered multi-starrers at this stage..

Janapriyan was promoted as a Jayasurya film much like Dr.Love is promoted as Chakkochan film. But that won't be the case if you have Asif Ali in the movie. People may have different opinions about him, but he's being used as a good marketing tool after Salt N Pepper. Manoj K Jayan is a good actor, but doesn't have that kind of market now. Maybe he had that in Asuravamsham/Kannur days but not anymore. He's considered as a character artist now. Same with Biju Menon.

2. Gross collection.
3. Distributors share.
4. Profit of Producer.
5. Profit of exhibitors.

Then we can conclude from the figures how the film performed.
